Hello,
I'm Doris

As a former drum school instructor, I've tailored lessons for kids, teenagers, working adults and retirees. With over 14 years of drumming experience, I've played in jazz, rock/pop, classical and church settings. Drumming brings me much joy and I hope to share that joy with others.

I hold an International Baccalaureate Diploma in Music and an ATCL Diploma in Piano from Trinity College London. With over 15 years of experience performing in diverse ensembles and bands, I have honed my craft while gaining a broader musical perspective.

Before You
Enquire

Do you take ad hoc lessons?

No — lessons run weekly so progress stays consistent.

I've never played before. Is that fine?

Completely. Several students started with no music background at all, from age 9 to 72.

Can I prepare for grading exams?

Yes. I'm trained on exam preparation and grading materials for drums and piano.

Do I need my own instrument?

Not for lessons — the studio has a full kit, cajons and a piano. Practice pads are recommended for home.

How does the trial work?

One trial lesson at 50% off the listed rate, once per student, on any instrument.
